The Grain Silos project is situated in Yanbu Commercial Port on the east coast of the Red Sea. The port is located approximately 460 nautical miles south of Suez Canal, and 168 nautical miles north-west of Jeddah. On a layout area of about 60,000m2, the project includes the following:
• Silos zone:
The current tender package consists of head house in the middle of 64 reinforced concrete silos with capacity of 60,000 tons for wheat storage.
Future extension shall accommodate about 48 silos (out of ECG scope).
• Ancillary buildings zone: encompassing about 16 buildings.
ECG scope covers preliminary design and quantity surveying.
