Project Description
The study main objective is to provide an overview of the Saudi Arabia’s main energy export markets in the light of decarburization and green hydrogen production & use. In addition to the extent of cost competition in the export of Saudi hydrogen and its derivatives.
The study investigates the following:
- The nature of hydrogen-based energy carriers and their suitability for specific applications.
- The goals of greenhouse gas emission reduction and timelines of these off-taker markets and the measures to achieve them.
- The role of hydrogen and PtX in these key markets and the extent to which they can substitute for oil and its derivatives.
- The production and use of Saudi Arabian hydrogen can meet the demands in Asian and European countries.
