ECG was a key platinum sponsor of the dinner party thrown by the EBA Construction Committee. The event was held in honour of H.E. Dr. Mostafa Madbouli, the Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Development, at Marriott Hotel in Zamalek in April 2014.
Dr. Madbouli delivered the opening speech, pinpointing the potential of the Egyptian Construction Sector; which will play a leading role with the close cooperation between private sector and the government to improve our economy. He also added that according to Egypt’s long-term strategic planning until 2052, it is inevitable that new communities must be developed, targeting particularly limited-income households, in order to meet Egypt’s rapid population growth.
Mr. Hassan Hussein, Chairman of the EBA Banking and Finance Committee discussed the necessity of issuing the new real estate law amendments and regulations thereof, taking into account the private sectors’ recommendations and concerns.
